Keep It Local For The Holidays At This Incredible New Mexico Holiday Market

It's that time of year again: Christmas time! When thinking about where you can shop locally and get in the holiday spirit, there's one place you should go first. The annual holiday market at Rail Yards in Albuquerque is approaching quickly, and this year it's a three-day fun packed weekend. Experience the best of all of ABQ with artists, food vendors, and so much more at this unique local (and free!) holiday event. You're sure to feel in the holiday spirit after a weekend at Rail Yards.

Welcome to the 5th Annual Holiday Market at the Rail Yards in Albuquerque! The event takes place December 14-16, 2018.

If you want to shop local this holiday season, this 3-day event is the best place to shop and enjoy food and music all from your local community. Close to 200 local vendors will be at the event, so you can experience the best of ABQ.

This holiday market is co-presented by Downtown Growers' and Rail Yards Markets, and is located in the historic Rail Yards in Albuquerque, making for an awesome atmosphere to a magical event.

This year you can participate in the ornament exchange. Bring an old, beloved ornament to the tree and exchange it for something new.

it wouldn't be a true New Mexico event without music, so you can expect performances from local musicians all weekend.

You'll find many local food vendors to sample from and crafts to purchase, and you'll get to see the finest of the Burque. There's also a kids' zone for children at this event.

Every year, Rail Yards calls for donations during the holiday season. This year they're asking for new toys for Casa Barelas, which is donating to local children. Bring a new book or toy to the donation station.

The Holiday Market at the Rail Yards is located at 777 1st Street SW, Albuquerque, NM. This free event takes place December 14-16, 2018 from 12p.m. to 4p.m. daily.
