The sprawling borough has long been considered a great suburban haven for food and culture, and never more so than during the warmer months. It all boils down to two exciting sites in the town - Parker Press Park, a small urban oasis not far from the train station, and the massive Woodbridge Community Center. During the summer months, both are transformed into multi-use recreation destinations. Woodbridge is in the middle of central Jersey, located on the New Jersey Coast Line train route - and it's the perfect hub for summer fun.

The Woodbridge Community Center, a major building minutes from a mall and supermarket, is one of the state's best recreation spots.

All under one roof, it features an ice skating rink, roller rink, batting cage, arcades, and a cafe.

There's even an outdoor mini-golf course available during the summer months!

The community center is also home to a low-cost summer camp during the summer, with each week having a unique theme ranging from Big Top Circus to Game Shows.

The other main spot for summer fun in Woodbridge is Parker Press Park, near the train station, which hosts a regular farmer's market.

As the sun goes down, it holds regular free concerts! Just bring a blanket, sit back, and enjoy the music.

The bands range from tribute bands to local favorites, and there really is something for everyone.

Of course, the Fourth of July is right around the corner, so look for some amazing fireworks in the sky!
