There’s A Paranormal Museum In New Jersey And It Looks As Amazing As It Sounds

If you're looking to experience the paranormal, there are plenty of places for you to visit in New Jersey. We're home to one of the most haunted roads in America and a former prison turned museum where the sentences go beyond life, but if you're looking to learn a little while you're scared out of your mind, we've found the perfect destination.

Paranormal Books & Curiosities is a wonderful shop, steps from the beach and boardwalk.

They're one of the largest paranormal shops in the country, offering books, gifts, guides and more, covering a wide range of supernatural subjects. You'll find goods pertaining to cryptozoological research, astral projection, zombies, werewolves, local Jersey Devil history and much more.

Their one-of-a-kind events, ranging from seances to ghost tours, are to die for.

You'll find book signings, lectures, ghost hunting classes, paranormal investigations, film screenings (like the Krampus Film Festival) and much more. Their haunted tours are spook-tacular - you can't go wrong with a haunted pub tour.

And if that's the sort of thing you're into, you're going to love New Jersey's paranormal museum. Visit on October 19th for a very special event - a candlelit tour of the museum after dark followed by a seance. Though these events sell out fast, they're always offering something spooky!

But perhaps the bookstore's biggest attraction is the Paranormal Museum.

A roadside-type attraction, a tour takes about 20 minutes and there's plenty to read if you'd like to learn more. Exhibits include the skull of the Jersey Devil (or one of his kind, perhaps), possessed dolls, a candle holder made from a severed hand (according to legend), and historic artifacts tied to legend and lore. You'll also find a Ouija wall and a ritual/occult area that is not for the faint of heart.
