Shhh… One Of The World’s Best Libraries Is Located In New Hampshire

When it comes to libraries, New Hampshire is an important state. The first public library in the nation started in Peterborough, and one New Hampshire library is among the most exquisite libraries in the world. Check it out:

From the outside, the library at Phillips Exeter Academy doesn't look like anything spectacular.

But inside, the library is an oasis of modern design.

The building's interior was designed by the architect Louis I. Kahn in 1966, as a gift from the class of 1945.

The main area inside stretches the height of the entire building, giving the library a grand presence.

But there are also cozy nooks through out the library where student can study. They're often decorated by the students that use them.

The library has won awards from the American Institute of Architects.

It's said to be one of the largest libraries ever constructed for a high school.

Needless to say, a trip to this library will give you plenty of inspiration to study.
