While fireworks are always magic, some cities and towns go above and beyond, crafting fireworks displays that are absolutely breathtaking. 1. Gorham
The best fireworks display in New Hampshire happen in this tiny town in the White Mountains. When it comes to the Fourth of July, Gorham goes big. The whole weekend leading up to the Fourth is full of parades, a carnival, and heaps of other events, as part of the state's longest-running Fourth of July celebration. The fireworks display happens on July 4th at 10 p.m.
2. Hampton Beach
There's something so nice about a fireworks display that takes place right over the ocean. Hampton Beach's fireworks are top notch, and you'll feel like you're getting double the show as the fireworks are reflected off the water. The fireworks show starts at 9:30, near the Hampton Beach Hatch Shell.
3. Meredith
One of the most beloved fireworks displays in the Lakes Region, Meredith shoots off a huge fireworks show over Meredith Bay on Lake Winnipesaukee, drawing a huge crowd by boat, car, and foot. The fireworks shoot off on the Fourth at dusk.
4. Peterborough
If you're going to call your fireworks display The Big Bang, you have to deliver. Peterborough does. The show happens at ConVal Regional High School Field on Saturday, July 2nd. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the fireworks go off at dusk. Note, there is a $35 per car parking fee. People who park elsewhere are charged $5 per person, maximum $20 per family.
5. Portsmouth
Portsmouth is the best place to observe the Fourth of July on the Seacoast, and the fireworks display will not disappoint. In addition to having a great display, Portsmouth has plenty of events happening all weekend in the lead up to the Fourth, including the famous festival at Strawbery Banke museum. Fireworks in Portsmouth go off on Sunday July 3rd at South Mill Pond (across from City Hall). The rain date is Tuesday July 5th at the same time.

6. Ashland: Festivities at L.W. Packard Ballfield on July 2nd beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks go off at dusk (rain date July 5th).
7. Breton Woods: Fireworks on July 2nd at the Mount Washington Resort, at 9:30 p.m.
8. Brookline: Fireworks Sunday July 3rd at 8:45 p.m. over Lake Potanipo.
9. Center Harbor: Fireworks July 4th at 9:15 p.m over the harbor.
10. Claremont: Festival at Monadnock Park beginning at 6 p.m. Fireworks at dusk. (rain date July 5)
11. Colebrook: Fireworks July 3rd at dusk.
12. Conway: Fireworks July 4th at dusk in North Conway Village.
13. Derry: Fireworks July 4th at dusk. Best viewing from Hood Commons, Crystal Ave. and Tsienneto Rd.
14. Errol: Fireworks July 2nd at dusk at the bridge along Route 26.
15. Franconia: Fireworks July 2nd at dusk.
16. Gorham: Fireworks July 4th at 10 p.m.
17. Hampton Beach: Fireworks July 4th at 9:30.
18. Hancock: Fireworks July 2nd at dusk (rain date July 9).
19. Harrisville: Fireworks July 3rd at 9:15 (rain date July 6)
20. Jackson: Fireworks July 2nd at 9 p.m. or dusk.
21. Laconia: Fireworks July 4th at 10 p.m. at Opechee Park.
22. Lebanon: Fireworks July 4th at 9 p.m. at Storrs Hill.
23. Manchester:Fireworks July 3rd at dusk at Arm's Park. Also, Baseball and fireworks following the Fishercat's Game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium on July 4th. Game starts at 7:05; fireworks after the game.
24. Merrimack: Fireworks July 4th at dusk at Mastricola School Fields.
25. Milford: Fireworks July 4th at dusk in Keyes Memorial Park (rain date July 5).
26. Nashua:Fireworks July 4th at dusk at Historical Holman Stadium (rain date July 5).
27. New Boston:Fireworks July 4th at dusk at the Hillsborough Fairgrounds.
28. North Woodstock: Fireworks July 4th at dusk.
29. Ossipee: Fireworks July 4th at 9:30.
30. Pelham: Fireworks July 3rd at dusk at Pelham Elementary School.
31. Pittsburg: Fireworks July 2nd at dusk.
