You get an idea of what the Imaginarium has to offer even before you go inside. Merchandise is often displayed on the sidewalk outside, and some of it is just so unusual that you can't help but stop and check it out.

When you step inside, you know you've found a place like no other. Nearly every inch of space is occupied by an amazing collection of what must be at least a million* items.

*Don't quote us on that.

There's stuff everywhere, and it's all arranged into dizzying maze-like aisles just packed with everything imaginable...and more.

Things are mostly arranged in rough groupings. If you're looking for something specific, you're likely to find several different versions to choose from.

The store is a massive consignment operation. Each seller has a unique ID number on their price tags so they get credit for each of their sales.

There are items here from just about every era imaginable. The store describes itself as "pop culture meets every cool item you ever wanted." That's totally accurate. If you're in the market for nostalgia or looking for that beloved toy from your childhood, it's probably here.

There are also plenty of items that will make you stop and go "Whaaaaat?" From toys to records to apparel to knick-knacks to memorabilia to furniture and so much more, the Imaginarium is truly full of wonders.

The inventory at both stores is constantly changing and no two visits are ever the same. If you see something you like, be sure to grab it since it may not be there the next time you visit.

This is the absolute perfect place to find a gift for that hard-to-buy-for person in your life. Even if you aren't sure what they like, you can pick up one of the curiosities found here. Who doesn't enjoy getting an accessory, toy, or home decor object that no one else has?

Leave yourself plenty of time to explore every nook and cranny of the store. Just when you think you've seen everything, you'll discover some little pocket of inventory that you didn't see before.

And don't forget that there are multiple levels at both locations, each of which is packed full of treasures.
