One Of The Most Spectacular Festivals In The World Happens In Nebraska Once A Year

NebraskaLand Days is an annual festival in North Platte celebrating Nebraska's culture with rodeos, concerts, and parades.

We love to have fun here in Nebraska. Visit any town or city in the state and you'll find that they each have their very own signature festival that residents look forward to each year. There's one festival that represents the personality of the entire state and draws people in from all across Nebraska and beyond.

NebraskaLand Days is an annual celebration of all things Nebraska.

It's held in North Platte every June, as it has been since 1965.

The western Nebraska city is the perfect place for it, given that the world's first spectator rodeo, spearheaded by Buffalo Bill, originated here. The Wild West icon also had a ranch just outside of North Platte.

In a some ways, NebraskaLand Days is a lot like a county fair.

There are rides, great food, entertainment...

...and a big parade that the whole city looks forward to all year. But it's much bigger and much more action-packed than any county fair.

The Buffalo Bill Rodeo is a major draw to the festival. It's a classic part of Nebraska history and culture, and thousands of spectators turn out to watch it.

Another popular part of the festival is the concert series. Some big names have played here in years past, and more will follow.

NebraskaLand Days is the official state celebration of Nebraska. Some 100,000 people attend every year to party Nebraska-style.

The 2019 NebraskaLand Days festival is set to take place June 12-22 at the Wild West Arena, located at 2400 N Buffalo Bill Ave, North Platte, NE 69101. Get more information on the festival - including a detailed calendar, concert lineup, and everything else you need to know - right here.
