Browse Goods From Over 700 Vendors At The Junk Jaunt, The Largest Antique Sale In Nebraska

Junk Jaunt is an annual 300-mile sale event in central Nebraska featuring over 700 vendors and scenic routes.

On the last full weekend of September every year, a huge sale stretches across central Nebraska. There are more than 700 vendors at the Junk Jaunt, all ready to welcome you and show you what they have to offer - from antiques and collectibles to clothing and food and everything in between.

The 300-mile route travels through tons of neat little towns, each one with lots of vendors selling all kinds of treasures.

You don't have to stay on the marked path, though. Even towns that aren't officially on the route will have vendors and treasures to explore.

There are vendors who have been coming to the event since its very first year, and new vendors join every year. And that means you'll find a huge variety of stuff all along the route.

Junk Jaunt shoppers are just as loyal. For many people, this is their annual vacation. They bring trailers or even rent trucks to bring home their hauls. They come from all across the state and even from other states to find treasures that can't be found anywhere else.

What can you expect to find on this epic shopping journey? A little of everything, it seems.

Antiques are only part of the bounty. You'll also find furniture, household items, farm gear, clothing, and handmade crafts. There are also plenty of food vendors along the way serving up a wide variety of meals and snacks to fuel your shopping journey.

Besides the deals of a lifetime, the Junk Jaunt offers the opportunity to see some of the state's most beautiful scenery.

The route partially follows both the Sandhills Journey Byway and the Loup Rivers Scenic Byway. The lovely setting is one of the benefits for shoppers - especially those coming from out of state. The scenic routes contradict the notion that Nebraska is flat and boring, increasing tourism long after the Jaunt is over.

This annual sale is an event that people look forward to all year long. See some of the excitement in the video below.
