This Christmas Tree Trail In Nebraska Is Like Walking In A Winter Wonderland
The Fantasy of Trees at the Stuhr Museum in Nebraska features over 90 creatively decorated Christmas trees, making it a beloved annual holiday event.
There are so many things to love about the holiday season in Nebraska, but our favorite may be the colorful lights and decorations that pop up everywhere. Some of the grandest Christmas displays you'll see this year are the decorated trees in the 30th annual Fantasy of Trees at the Stuhr Museum.
The Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer is host to a truly mesmerizing annual display of lavishly decorated trees.
In this beloved annual event, businesses, nonprofit organizations, clubs, and individuals decorate trees however they like. They're displayed throughout the holiday season before being judged in a number of categories.
This year, more than 90 beautiful trees adorn the Stuhr building. They run the range from classic to modern to hilarious.
Museum visitors are encouraged to walk among the trees and admire the care and hard work that went into each one.
You'll be inspired by the themed trees...
...impressed by the creative interpretation of the word "tree"...
...and amused by the entries that celebrate the lighter side of the holidays.
Lots of Nebraskans make visiting the Fantasy of Trees a family tradition. We look forward to it all year!
The 2018 Fantasy of Trees is happening from November 24, 2018 to January 3, 2019. Walking among these beautifully decorated trees is free with paid admission to the Stuhr Museum.
