The Epic Zipline In Nebraska That Will Take You On An Adventure Of A Lifetime

Camp Comeca in Nebraska offers an exciting zipline experience suitable for group events and thrill-seekers.

Big ziplines usually exist in states with more mountainous and tree-covered terrain, but that doesn't mean that Nebraska is totally lacking in this super-fun activity.

Camp Comeca, near Cozad in Dawson County, is known primarily as a United Methodist Church summer camp.

But the facility is also available for group retreats, birthday parties, and family reunions. Many of the fun activities that summer campers do are available to groups as well.

And that includes the epic zipline!

It takes a bit of courage just to start on your zipline journey. First you've got to climb a ladder part of the way up a tall pole, then depend on metal rungs to get you the rest of the way up.

Don't worry, though - you'll be outfitted with a helmet and fitted with a safe harness, which the staff will carefully check to ensure it's fastened tightly enough.

Once you've surveyed the land below and steeled your nerves a bit, you just take a deep breath and...

...let yourself fly!

The ride is beautiful thanks to the camp's location in a wooded area on the banks of Central Midway Lake.

The journey is just long enough to get your heart pumping and your adrenaline flowing as you fly through the air...

...but not so long that it gets uncomfortable.

It's the perfect group activity for thrill-seekers or for groups looking to connect on a whole new level.
