In addition to calm and beauty, it's also one of the best places to enjoy the winter in Montana! Each year the the Parks Maintenance department creates the rink by laying layers of ice on top of the already water-soaked land that freezes in the winter.

Skate rentals are free and time on the ice is affordable enough that a family can enjoy an afternoon here for under $10.

The Memorial Park Warming House & Ice Rink is open for the 2023-2024 season beginning December 26, 2023. It stays open, weather-dependent, through February 25, 2024.
