The Bitterroot 50-Mile Garage Sale stretches through the Bitterroot Valley, running from Lolo to Darby with plenty of stops along the way.

As you drive, just look for the happy orange signs along the way that will guide you to the treasures at this Montana flea market.

It all started in 2014, when an enthusiastic group of Bitterroot Valley residents and business owners decided to organize one of the best yard sales in Montana.

Clearly, it was a hit.

From professional thrifters to locals who just want to meander, you'll find an interesting mix at this event.

This is a volunteer-run event, and money collected goes mainly to marketing efforts.

We're not kidding when we say you'll find a little bit of everything along these 50 miles of treasures.

From furniture and household items to antiques and repurposed treasures, you'll find it all here. Remember to bring some sunscreen, a water bottle, and a backpack or cart to carry your treasures!
