The Whimsical U.S. Bank Wild Lights Experience In Missouri Will Take You On A Spectacular Nighttime Adventure
The Saint Louis Zoo's Wild Lights event transforms the zoo into a festive holiday light display on select evenings.
Can you believe the most wonderful time of the year, the holiday season, is finally upon us? We’ll soon be busy shopping for and wrapping gifts, baking holiday goodies, and reminiscing about holidays past with family and friends. During the busy days, we’ll probably also make time to get out there and make or continue treasured traditions, including exploring the Wild Lights in Missouri.
When the sun goes down during the holiday season, the Saint Louis Zoo transforms into a magical spectacle of lights and holiday cheer.
The annual U.S. Bank Wild Lights runs on select evenings from November 27, 2020 through January 2, 2021. Hours are 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
However, this year the event will run a bit differently due to the pandemic. You must make advance reservations for one of two evening timeslots – 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
You can arrive any time during your timeslot. If you choose the 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. slot, for example, you must enter any time between them. (The event, however, ends at 8:30 p.m., so make sure you give yourself enough time to see everything.)
Bundle up for your stroll along the paths that are dotted with twinkling lights and illuminated figures – hippos and chameleons, for example.
The path offers plenty of picture-perfect spots to take selfies and photos. You can also grab a bite to eat or something hot to drink to keep you energized.
