This Eerie And Fantastic Footage Takes You Inside Mississippi’s Abandoned Susie B. Law House
The Susie B. Law House in Mississippi, an abandoned and overgrown property, is known for its eerie appearance and paranormal activity.
Of all abandoned Mississippi sites, the Susie B. Law House is perhaps the most elusive. Not only is it on private property, but it’s covered in vines and overgrown greenery. All hope is not lost, though. The property might be off-limits to the general public, but you can still get a peek inside the mysterious abode thanks to the fantastic footage featured below.
First, some background. The Susie B. Law House is in Glen Allan, a small community near the southern shore of Lake Washington.
Aside from its construction date, which is 1902, there is very little known about the house.
Several sources suggest it was a Sears & Roebuck kit house.
Today, the house is a far cry from what it once was.
Long abandoned and in a terrible state of disrepair, it’s quickly being reclaimed by nature.
Vines consume the home's exterior, while a partially caved-in roof and tumbling walls expose the house to the elements, only accelerating its deterioration.
Not surprisingly, the home's vague history and eerie appearance has caught the attention of paranormal investigators, who concluded Susie B. Law's ghost haunts the property.
The house is truly like something from a scary movie… literally. In 2014, portions of “Haunted,” a horror movie, were filmed at the Susie B. Law House.
