Ring In The 2023 Holiday Season With The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train When It Comes To Minnesota

For many of us in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, the CPKC/Canadian Pacific Holiday Train in Minnesota is a beloved Christmas season tradition. For several years now, it's illuminated our nights and brightened our days during this festive time. The Holiday Train is back this year, and there will be many opportunities for you to see it in the Bold North - I can hardly wait, myself!

This year, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will roll into Minnesota on December 6, with 25 stops scheduled over the next several days.

It will make its first stop in Rochester, followed by Owatonna, Waseca, and Janesville on the same day.

The Holiday Train will pull into Austin on December 7 and La Crescent on December 8.

It will travel through Iowa between these two Minnesota stops.

From La Crescent, the train will follow the Mississippi River upstream, stopping for shows in Winona, Wabasha, and Hastings on December 9.

Over the next couple days, the Holiday Train will offer several shows in the Twin Cities area.

On December 10, it will stop in Cottage Grove and at Union Depot in St. Paul.

And on Dec. 11, there will be shows in Golden Valley, St. Louis Park, and Minneapolis.

The Holiday Train will head north and west out of the Twin Cities Metro on December 13.

On that day, it will stop in Loretto, Buffalo, Annandale, and Eden Valley.

December 14 is the Holiday Train's last full day in the North Star State, visiting Glenwood, Alexandria, Detroit Lakes, Mahnomen, Plummer, and Thief River Falls.

On December 15, the train will make its last stop in Minnesota at Elbow Lake before continuing on into North Dakota.

Entertainment is scheduled at each Holiday Train stop.

For stops from December 6 to December 11, Tenille Townes and Breland are scheduled to perform. Folks who visit the train December 13 through 15 are scheduled to see Dallas Smith and MacKenzie Porter.

In the Twin Cities, the train's visit to St. Paul usually coincides with the European Christmas Market in Lowertown near Union Depot, so you could certainly plan a whole day, evening, or weekend around the event.
