Minnesota is not just full of amazing scenery but some amazing architecture as well. Among the great buildings are some beautiful churches. Whether they are small and quaint or large and stunning, these are some churches that will impress anyone.
1. Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral may not be the most beautiful on the outside but its interior is absolutely spectacular.
2. St. Michael's Catholic Church in Stillwater stands regally in the sunlight.
3. The interior of Holy Cross Church in Minneapolis is most definitely grand.
4. St. Augustine Church in Austin is a colorful sight.
5. St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waverly is magnificent against the clouds.
6. The Church of Saint Louis, King of France or "Little French Church" has some phenomenal stained glass.
7. Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Cloquet has marvelous doors and the rest of the church is also amazing!
8. Methodist Church in Taylors Falls from 1861 is the perfect illustration of small but stunning churches.
9. Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm is a wonderful example of baroque revival architecture.
10. Historic Westminster Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis is a wonder among modern downtown.
11. Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church is another Minneapolis beauty.
12. First Congregational United Church of Christ stands small but spectacular in Cannon Falls.
13. St. Wendelin Church in Luxemburg Minnesota looks amazing under a blanket of clouds.
14. Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis is spectacular in any season.
15. Arendahl Lutheran Church is small but beautiful.
16. Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston is simply breathtaking.
17. We of course can't forget the Cathedral of St. Paul which is always beautiful.
18. Or the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis which is amazingly gorgeous inside and out.
