The Star Line Mackinac Island Ferry docks at 587 N State St in St. Ignace and 801 S Huron St in Mackinaw City. The ferry offers service to and from Mackinac Island.
Since 1978, this essential service has offered convenient island access to locals and out-of-town tourists alike. There’s a ferry option here for everyone to appreciate.
While many passengers choose to take the classic ferry or the Hydro-Jet service, visitors who drop by in 2020 will have the change to embark on a thrilling pirate adventure.
That’s right: this season, passengers can make their way to Mackinac Island on the Good Fortune Pirate Ship. Talk about a unique and memorable family excursion!
Daily island service from Mackinaw City to Mackinac Island will be available five times daily on the Good Fortune throughout the peak season. Costumes are encouraged!
If that weren’t enough, there will be a scenic nightly cruise during which passengers can enjoy views of the Mackinac Bridge, enjoy drinks from the bar, and marvel at water cannons.
During your adventure in the Straits, you might just feel like you’ve stepped back in time to an era when pirates ruled the high seas. Does it get much more exciting than this?
As you look ahead to your next great day with the family, be sure to consider a journey on the Good Fortune. You’ll have the chance to enjoy Michigan in an entirely new way.
