Spindler Confections is a candy maker and confectionary located in Cambridge. Open seasonally from mid-October until late spring, this candy shop makes all of its candies and confections on-site by hand. On top of all the sweets it sells, Spindler's is home to the Boston Candy Museum.

You'll find a wide variety of confections on the store's shelves. Among its specialties are bonbons, caramels, brittles, and small-batch chocolates.

Inside Spindler Confections, you can explore the small yet charming candy museum. This is the Boston Candy Museum which showcases 80 artifacts from confectionaries around the Boston area from over the years.

At one point in time, Boston was home to over 140 confectionaries and candy factories which made some of the most popular candies like NECCO, Charleston Chews, and Sugar Daddies. Up until 1950, Main Street in Cambridge was called "Confectioners Row."

The candy museum's collection displays vintage boxes and packages, advertisements, candy-making equipment, and more. All are part of Boston's history as a hub for candy-making years ago.
