Tucked away in the quiet town of Douglas is a hidden summertime gem.

Located on the shore of the sparkling Whitins Reservoir, this park offers three 300-foot waterslides.

You can't beat the views at this park. Forget long lines, complicated ticketing and huge crowds: Having fun at this place is simple as pie.

Besides the waterslides, there's also an absolutely gorgeous waterfront park that is perfect for picnics and relaxing in the sun.

Bring a blanket or use one of their clean (read: no splinters) picnic tables. You’re sure to catch an amazing breeze off the lake, no matter how hot the weather.
