Drive Through One Of The Most Iconic Music Venues In The Country At Maryland’s Symphony Of Lights

Merriweather Post Pavilion hosts the annual Symphony of Lights, a drive-through holiday light display featuring over 300,000 lights.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go. There's still time to enjoy the sparkling lights around Maryland and the following display has stepped up its game in a big way. Head to Merriweather Post Pavilion for the annual Symphony of Lights, which now goes THROUGH the iconic amphitheater. When again will you have the opportunity to drive your car through the same place that Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and more famous artists have performed? Check out the details below.

Merriweather Post Pavilion is a music venue in Howard County that's mostly known for its spring and summer festivals, and the annual Wine in the Woods.

During the holiday season, it transforms into a twinkling winter wonderland with over 300,000 lights.

Cost is $20 per car for the drive-through display, which is approximately one mile in length.

Along the way you'll see sassy snowmen, dazzling deer, and more Christmas characters.

2019 is a special year to visit, as the display was recently given a makeover and re-routed through Merriweather's iconic amphitheater.

That means you get to drive through the place where hundreds of famous musicians have performed. Enjoy seeing colors glow over the seats, and marvel at the giant hologram Christmas tree.

Symphony of lights will run nightly from 6pm-10pm until January 1st. Ticket purchases support Howard County General Hospital and the Downtown Columbia Arts and Culture Commission.

Heat up the car and come visit this unique attraction while there's still time. See you at the pavilion!
