7 Christmas Light Displays Around Baltimore That Are Pure Magic

If you're awed by Christmas lights, be sure to check out these 7 displays around the Baltimore area this holiday season. We included spots that are within an hour drive of the city, so if you're willing to drive, you can witness even more splendor. Check 'em out, and enjoy.
1. Miracle on 34th Street
We of course have to start with Baltimore's famous Miracle on 34th Street, found in the Hampden neighborhood. This entire block of historic rowhomes goes all out with Christmas lights and unique sculptures. It's an annual must-see.

2. Symphony of Lights at Merriweather
The grounds of Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia transform into a twinkling light display each year. The animated light displays are vibrant and full of whimsy. Cost is $20 per vehicle except on walk through nights. Check it out November 24 through January 1.

3. Lights on the Bay
This drive-through display also runs November 20 through January 1, with a cost of $20 per car (and more for larger vehicles). The route winds through Sandy Point State Park, making for a magical night, indeed.

4. Winter Lights at Seneca Creek State Park
November 25 through December 31, you can see this vibrant drive-through display located at Seneca Creek State Park. Cost is $15 Monday through Thursday, and $25 Friday to Sunday (additional fees for larger vehicles).

5. Garden of Lights at Brookside Gardens
Brookside Gardens is gorgeous year-round, and it somehow becomes even more so during the holiday season. This walk-though light display is enchanting as can be, with storybook characters and magnificent creatures. Cost is $10 per person.

6. Festival of Lights at Watkins Regional Park
With over one million glittering lights, this display is impressive. Cost for this drive-through event is $10 online and $15 at the gate, more for larger vehicles. You can visit November 25 through January 1.

7. DC Temple Lights
You can see this magical scene December 1 though January 2. Explore the twinkling grounds, followed by a holiday concert. What a memorable December night!
