Gas up the car, because today we're heading to Prehistoric Park to walk alongside dinosaurs. Let's take a closer look.

Just off of I-10 in the heart of Cajun Country lies a hidden gem that kids and adults of all ages will enjoy.

Prehistoric Park is perhaps one of the best kept secrets in Louisiana, and it’s time you check it out.

At this unique attraction, you’ll take a step back into the past and walk alongside some of the most feared predators to have ever walked the planet.

These larger than life creatures are so lifelike, it’s incredible. As Louisana’s only attraction dedicated to dinosaurs, it’s certainly worthy of a visit.

Over 20 dinosaur exhibits pepper the park, including some animated exhibits. Each one is more realistic looking than the next.

As you walk through the park, you'll encounter interpretive signs along the way, teaching you all about the different dinosaurs.

There’s also a fun little playground, a gift shop, and a sandbox with buried bones so your little ones can tap into their inner paleontologists.

Prehistoric Park is open six days a week.

They’re open 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. every day except Friday, when they stay open till 6 p.m. Closed on Mondays. Admission is only $12 for adults and $8 for kids 12 and under.
