You’ll Have An Ax-cellent Time At Stumpy’s Hatchet House In New Orleans

Need to release some pent-up frustrations? There's a new indoor recreational spot that's just opened up in the city, and you're going to love it. Stumpy's Hatchet House is a chain with locations all across the United States, and we are lucky enough to have our very own Stumpy's right here in New Orleans. From date nights to corporate team building, Stumpy's is a great spot to blow off some steam and have some fun. Who knows, you may discover you've got a new hidden talent!

You'll find Stumpy's Hatchet House in the Warehouse District on Poydras Street.

Since opening in 2020, they've quietly become the hottest spot in the city to enjoy some good old fashioned fun.

In the form of hatchet throwing, that is.

You can rent a spot for one or two hours, depending on how many people are in your group.

One-hour rentals are $25 per person and two-hour rentals are $40 per person. Keep in mind that you do have to be over 18 to enter.

Safety walls in between the lanes ensure you'll be safe from cattywampus throws.

Speaking of safety, you'll need closed-toe shoes to participate, so keep that in mind!

In between throws, challenge your friends to a game of giant jenga!

There's also a bar where you can quench your thirst.

Axe-throwing may seem simple, but it may take you a few throws to get your technique down pat.
