On Saturday, May 12th be sure to carve out some time to visit the annual Gretna Maifest.
It takes place from 8:30am—3:30pm
Over 70 vendors will be displaying their work and selling their products.
From artwork to fruits, vegetables, and plants, you’ll have a splendid time wandering around.
Stroll down Huey P. Long Avenue to shop the weekly Farmers Market.
You’ll be able to stock up on farm fresh produce, baked goods, jams, jellies, and more.
Then head over to the pavilion for the Gretna Art Walk
Dozens of talented artists will be selling their artwork.
Be sure to visit the German American Cultural Center Beer Garden.
Grab a pint of German beer and some delicious food and live German music.
It's a fun-filled day the whole family will enjoy.
Maifest takes place on Saturday, May 12 from 8:30am—3:30pm along Huey P. Long Avenue in Gretna.
