The House of Shock is a 25,000-square-foot haunted house that more than 350 volunteers and staff members operate.
It's one of the most spooky attractions in all of Louisiana.
After almost closing in 2014, the House of Shock is now stronger than ever.
The 2016 season will get started on September 30th and will offer 3 world-class haunted attractions.
Participants have to consent to being touched and prodded by House of Shock volunteers and staff.
It makes for a breathtakingly creepy experience going through the house.
There are some truly amazing aspects of this attraction that feature elements of New Orleans' own dark history.
The new entrance, for example, has been built to mimic the entrance of the LeBeau Mansion, a haunted house that was burned to the ground in 2013.
There are also some truly breathtaking pyrotechnics that put a cap on the end of a night at the house of shock that you don't want to miss.
Spending the night here is definitely not for the faint of heart. You'll want to make sure you're ready for something totally earth shattering!
