The Lavender Festival At The Kentucky Castle Is The Most Enchanting Event Of The Summer

Summer in Kentucky is the time to get out into nature and take in all the beauty this state has to offer. Few things are as beautiful as a field of lavender and the scent is simply divine. This state is also home to The Kentucky Castle which has been a site for summer adventures for years, with so many activities and amenities. There’s an upcoming event that lets you experience all of the above! Welcome to the 4th Annual Lavender Festival at The Kentucky Castle:

The Kentucky Castle is a true gem with over 100 acres of activities and it’s a wonderful place to have a summer getaway where you can sleep in the castle, dine at the farm-to-table restaurant, and pamper yourself with spa treatments any time of year.

The castle is also known for its idyllic gardens which are lovingly manicured and are utterly stunning especially when the flowers are in bloom.

It’s the perfect place for this Lavender Festival which takes place from June 15 to June 18, 2023, and it celebrates all things lavender. Your ticket includes a lavender sachet, a lavender shortbread cookie, lavender lemonade, a small jar of TKC Honey, and access to the vendor and artist booths.

The first day includes live music and a holistic gardening activity at the castle’s own farm. In the evening, there is an optional lavender cocktail class. The farm not only has lovely gardens, but is also home to horses, goats, and other friendly farm animals.

Day two will include a Garden Fresh Salad + Vinaigrette Workshop and an Intro to Beekeeping at the farm, an optional tea class, and live music.

Day 3 has an optional Goat Yoga class, a garden bouquet design activity, live music, and an optional Family Movie Night.

The final day is an unscheduled free day where you can explore the castle, gardens, and farm and take part in all that The Kentucky Castle has to offer. Interact with horses, goats, bunnies, and sheep at the farm, swim in the pool, take a tour of the castle, get a spa treatment, have a scrumptious farm-to-table meal, and so much more!
