Every Saturday in October, the Bluegrass Railroad will offer their Pumpkin Patch train rides at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

It is recommended that you purchase tickets ahead of time through the railroad's website, linked below. The website also answers any questions you may have and shares any updates.

You'll be able to choose which type of train car you ride in, but we highly recommend the open-air "Hobo class."

This car offers a unique experience and the best views of the scenery. On a beautiful October day, there's no better way to see fall foliage in Kentucky.

The train ride is approximately 90 minutes, but may be a bit longer with a stop to pick out a pumpkin.

Enjoy views of Young's High Bridge, as well as horse farms that will be surrounded by fall color throughout the weekends in October.

On this special event ride, you'll also make a stop at the non-profit, Life Adventure Center.

Here passengers will be able to disembark and pick out a pumpkin. The non-profit is asking for a donation of $3 for small and $5 for large pumpkins that will go directly back into the center. They do ask that you bring exact change or pay with a credit card.
