Celebrate Western Heritage At The 63rd Annual Dodge City Days, A 10-Day Festival In Kansas Like No Other

One of the best things about summer in Kansas is all the festivals - from our tiniest towns to our bustling cities, it seems like just about every Sunflower State spot has a unique way to celebrate the summer. One of the largest summer festivals in Kansas is undoubtedly the Dodge City Days, held this year from July 27 to August 6, 2023. This 10-day celebration of all things Wild West is so perfectly Kansan and a great way to celebrate living here. It's a family-friendly event that brings thousands to this city that's so synonymous with Old West heritage.

Of all the cities in the western half of the country, Dodge City is perhaps the most associated with the Wild West era. This cow town was home to legends like Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, and even today, the city relishes its history.

The Dodge City Days is a celebration of that Wild West history, with all kinds of great events. It's one of the largest festivals in Kansas!
