Mini golf is a quintessential pastime - it's fun for any age group and requires no prior experience to enjoy it. Add in a dinosaur theme and you've got yourself the perfect day. Ottumwa is home to Tee-Rex Mini Golf, a fantastic place that the whole family will love.

You'll find Tee-Rex Mini Golf course inside Quincy Place Mall in Ottumwa, where it has been since its 2017 opening.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior - the inside holds a world of fun.

You'll enter through a small tunnel and find yourself in a prehistoric land.

People drive from all over the state to enjoy it, and it's easy to see why.

Co-owner Craig Payne had been dreaming of this business for years before he opened it.

He knows how fascinating dinosaurs are, and the idea of creating a place where people could escape reality for a while was too good to resist.

Aside from the course, you'll find a variety of dinosaurs wandering along the paths.

These are high quality replicas, and there are quite a few of them.

The decor was actually designed and created by the Payne family, especially Craig's wife Desi.

The family worked hard for months to design the space.

This fun, family-friendly experience only costs $5 to enjoy.

Whether or not you come to the Quincy Place Mall to shop, stopping by this mini-golf course is always a blast.

Tee-Rex Mini Golf is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, although hours vary.

You can golf from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, but on Sundays, they're open from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
