Waterloo, Iowa is a beautiful lakeside town with a big secret - and it's opening to the world very soon.
The charming campgrounds near the lake are home to adventure-seekers who have been looking forward to 2022 for a long time.
They've been coming to the town every summer for its famous Lost Island Waterpark for years now, and its slides and wave pools still deliver chills and splashes.
But when the sun goes down, the skyline gives away what's coming soon - a much bigger adventure at the Lost Island Theme Park.
Lost Island, a ninety-acre amusement park, will be home to more than twenty family and thrill rides - including the massive Skyborne Drop Tower.
The land of Air, Udara, will also take riders on the Nopko Air Coaster, with five thrilling inversions.
It's only rivaled in thrills by the Matugani Launch Coaster in Yuta, the land of Earth. You'll go from zero to sixty in seconds!
But for the park's signature attraction, head to Mura, the land of fire, and look for the massive temple at its center.
Volkanu: Quest for the Golden Idol is an interactive dark ride that will pit riders against ancient lava beasts in the middle of an erupting volcano!
