Funky Finds is a delightful vintage and retro store in Des Moines, Iowa, and once you've been inside, you'll never want to leave - at least not without a car full of old-school goodies. Funky Finds was established in 2012, but looking at the décor and the selection, you'd never have guessed it.

This unique little ditty specializes in what they dub "mid-century wares," which are goods from the 1950s through the 1970s.

Trust us: from the moment you set foot inside, you'll be transported back to a time (or a plethora of times) where life was simpler, lower-tech, and truly unique. You never know what you'll find here during any given visit.

Within these retro walls, you'll find everything from funky furniture to captivating old cameras and everything in between.

The store prides itself on being set up in such a way that you can see, feel, and experience the items like you would if they were in your own home.

There's something ironically futuristic and modern-looking about some of the wares being offered for sale at Funky Finds.

If you've got any beloved old-school clothes, furniture, electronics or whatever else you can think of, you'll probably be able to find it a good home at this little thrift store in Iowa.

The kind folks here buy and sell the wares the shop is most famous for, and trust us when we say there's just something so addictive about scoring a really, really groovy old lamp that you'll never find anywhere else.

You'll find displays set up with themes, too, which definitely helps you imagine what the items could look like in your living room.
