With Independence Day right around the corner, it's time to start planning your Fourth of July weekend. Grab your friends and family, and a few lawn chairs, and check out these 15 spectacular fireworks shows in Iowa! Almost all of the cities listed also have festivals going on before the fireworks, so don't forget to check those out before the big show!

1. Red White and Boom in Davenport

Fireworks will be on July 4 at 9:30 p.m in downtown Davenport, at the riverfront. They can be seen from Modern Woodmen Park, LeClaire Park, the Skybridge, Freight House Parking Lot, and more.

2. Fireworks in Burlington

The West Burlington Independence Day celebration will be on July 4, with fireworks at dark.

3. Fireworks in Des Moines

There are several fireworks shows in Des Moines on July 4. The shows will be at 9:30 p.m. at the Iowa State Fairgrounds and E 30th Street and E University Avenue. On July 3 there will be fireworks at 9:45 p.m on the Courthouse lawn.

4. Fireworks at Principal Park

There will be a fireworks show on both July 2 and 3 at Principal Park in Des Moines.

5. Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival

The fireworks for the Freedom Festival will be held at May’s Island, Cedar Rapids at 9:45 pm. There will also be fireworks at Kernels Stadium at 9:15 pm.

6. Fireworks in Iowa City

The fireworks show in Iowa City will be held at Hubbard Park at dusk .

7. Fireworks in Okoboji

There will be fireworks on July 3 on Big Spirit Lake and July 4, 2015 on West Lake, Okoboji.

There will also be fireworks shows in the following cities:

- Sioux City: The Sioux City Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Saturday in the Park Festival on July 4 will end with fireworks.

- Dubuque: The 30th Annual Fireworks and Air Show Spectacular will be held on Friday, July 3, at the downtown riverfront at 9:45 pm.

- Storm Lake: Storm Lake's Star Spangled Spectacular fireworks show will be held over the lake at dusk.

- Clear lake: The fireworks display will be held over the lake on July 4.

- Coralville: 4th Fest fireworks will be held at St. Morrison Park at dusk.

- Ames: Fireworks will be launched near the Iowa State Center on July 3 at 9 pm.

- Pella: The fireworks will be on July 4, east of Madison School at 9:45 pm or dusk.

- Waukee: The fireworks will be on July 4, at dusk at Centennial Park.
