Enjoy The Most Colorful Spring Festival In Indiana At The Indiana Peony Festival

Spring is such an elegant time of year, don’t you think? Everything is blooming and blossoming; the flora and fauna are bursting back to life after an entire winter season of being hunkered down. And we believe it’s the best time of year to get outside and enjoy the beauty of life. Plus, there are always all sorts of amazing things to do in Indiana in spring. For example, did you know there’s an annual peony festival in Noblesville that’s the single most perfect way to celebrate both spring and Indiana’s state flower? Yep! Even though it’s relatively new, it might just take over as the best spring festival in Indiana. Check it out!

The (somewhat new!) annual Indiana Peony Festival takes place in the beautiful small town of Noblesville, and it's a celebration of not JUST the state flower, but of all the things we love about spring.

There will be plenty to see and do, like browsing the plentiful vendors and artisans that will have booths set up.

There will be peony growers, peonies for sale, whole peony plants for sale, and even a peony contest (may the best florist win).

Local shops and eateries will be all decked out for the occasion; it's a fully immersive, beautiful experience, and its majesty is unmatched.

Other notable things to do include kid-friendly activities, horticulture classes, food, spirits, and more. We're not sure about you, but nothing sounds better to us than sipping on sweet wine surrounded by thousands of stunning, brilliantly-colored peonies.

The majority of the festivities will take place at the historic Seminary Park, which is right in the heart of Noblesville.

And it's appropriate: The Peony Festival, now in its fourth year, is quickly becoming a symbol of not just Noblesville but of all of Indiana during the spring. It is a truly beautiful experience.

Throughout the whole month of May, the Peony Trail will remain active, with more than 1,000 amazing plants to admire along the way. There will be several stops, all of which will teach you to appreciate Indiana's state flower just a little more with every one.

This year's festivities will take place on May 18th, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.; it's a daylong affair!

Wear comfortable walking shoes and show up early - you won't want to miss a single moment!
