The Tin Lizzie Cafe has been a quirky diner in central Indiana since 2011. It is part restaurant and part museum with all its historic decor.
From the moment you walk in, you'll be greeted by Marilyn Monroe and a wealth of other iconic characters from the 1950s. You'll see a New York cityscape mural, a plethora of old photographs, and bits of trivia all over the walls.
Only open five days a week for breakfast and lunch, this historic diner serves up morning meals until about 11 a.m. Enjoy classics like pancakes, French toast, eggs any style, hash browns, omelets, sandwiches, burritos, oatmeal, and meats like bacon and sausage.
When it comes to lunch items, you'll find many traditional diner staples on the menu. Start your meal with something like a soup or salad. They even have Frito pie salad and chili.
Entrees include sandwiches and wraps. Find favorites like grilled cheeses, BLTs, tuna melts, Reubens, burgers, and more.
Of course, you can't skip dessert. Ask your server what sweets are available for the day when you arrive. Delicious pies and much more abound.
