The visitors' center is located at 5701 National Rd. E, Richmond, IN 47374. In addition to brochures and this chocolate passport, you'll also find savings cards for area restaurants, attractions, and more.

You must present the passport at each location in order to receive a free chocolate-themed sample and other savings. From actual candies to treats like ice cream, fudge, and even candles, there is much for you and your honey to enjoy on this sweet trip.

While the various stores that are part of this free chocolate trail change every so often, you'll likely find businesses like Ullery's Homemade Ice-Cream, Abbott's Candies, Main Street Sweets, and even Warm Glow Candle Company on the list.

You'll even get to take a tour when you visit Abbot's Candies. Guests learn about the history of the company and its classic caramel recipe before shuffling off to the chocolate room to watch the magic happen.

This free chocolate trail is designed to take up an entire day or a weekend, and hours of operation depend on each business. The Old National Welcome Center is open Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. as well as between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday for you to pick up your passport.
