There are dozens of towns in Indiana that are well-known for their local shopping. Nashville, for instance, offers amazing small-town shopping in a stunning and artistic environment. But if you're a fan of a great flea market, every Hoosier knows there's only one place to go: the Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market. Seriously, you'll fall in love immediately! It's a seasonal market set to open up again in May, and we promise it's even better than we can accurately express.
The famous Shipshewana Flea Market is a massive outdoor event with some of the best unique and original shopping in Indiana.
With 26 aisles of stands to browse through, it's no wonder this flea market routinely makes it to the top of the "Best Of" flea market lists.
This massive flea market is a staple in the summer for most Hoosiers, as the market is open from May until the first week in October (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, certain weekends, and special holidays).
In fact, the Flea Market is the Midwest's largest flea market, with over 900 vendors and more than 100 lots.
What will you find at Shipshewana? If you can dream it, you can likely buy it here.
You'll find a massive collection of home decor, both vintage and local creations.
Looking for a specific piece of furniture?

Looking for something slightly more obscure like a classic typewriter, artistic sculpture, or old-fashioned globe?
Shipshewana is where you want to go!
Of course, it wouldn't be a true Indiana flea market without a huge selection of locally sourced and baked food.
Find amazing fruit butters, preserves, baked goods, and much more, here.
You'll also find a ton of handmade clothing, used books, unique art, vintage dinnerware, toys, and so much more.
