Antiquing is not just a hobby - for some of us, it's a way of life. A dusty, at times musty but usually super fun way of life, but I digress: some of us take our antiquing and thrifting very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that it's not at all unheard of to do thrift shop/antique mall road trips, or to make a whole day out of it. If you happen to be in this boat with me (us!), you're in great company; there are numerous antique shops in Indiana, but today, I'd like to highlight an amazing one that tends to unintentionally fly under the radar. Of all the places to go antiquing in Indiana, this one might be one of the best.

From the outside, you can already tell: it's a big place, so the aisles will seem endless.

And they really do; one of my favorite things in the whole world is to put in some earbuds, put on gentle piano music, and get lost in the halls and rooms of this magical place. It's a blissful afternoon, I promise!

You know what they say about one man's trash being another's treasure, but Crown Antique Market really takes this to heart.

And, dare I say it: there isn't a single shred of "trash" here. No trash, all treasure. No bad times, all good times. You get the idea.

One of the things that sets Crown Antique Market apart from others is the sheer vastness of items you can thumb through, wander past, and stop to look at.

It's also got some fairly unusual booths for antique shops. Are you a fan of collecting old toy cars, or maybe rare figurines? This is the place for you!

Are you a record collector always looking for the next big score? Yup, Crown's got that too.

This is absolutely one of those places where one could get lost for hours and hours, aimlessly wandering the aisles and walkways, looking for the booth that resonates with us the most.

Even comic book collectors can find something delightful here!

I really can't express enough just how cool it is to me that Crown Antiques is both an old-school antique shop and a more modern, up-to-date version of the same. It's super cool, and it's unique in a fun way.

Come on out to Crown Antique Mall for one of the best antiquing experiences you'll ever have in Indiana.
