The Southeastern Quilt & Textile Museum in Carrollton, Georgia, offers educational and fascinating exhibits on quilts and textiles.

The Southeastern Quilt & Textile Museum (SGTM) is a not-for-profit 501 that has committed itself to the education and presentation of quilts and textiles through various exhibits within their space.
This wonderful museum was opened in 2012, after being advocated by the Georgia Quilt Council since 1998.
Opened in a renovated historic cotton warehouse, these exhibits feature a variety of contemporary and traditional quilts by solo artists and regional guilds
Exhibits change every three months of so, with a combined total of three main exhibits every year.
But there is also additional programming involved, which includes quilting workshops, lectures, and informational series let by textile and quilting experts.
The museum is open Thursdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., so make sure to plan your trip accordingly.
