Kids Can Sit In The Cockpit Of A Real Airplane At This Children’s Museum In Georgia

Looking for somewhere fun to take the kids? Luckily, there are plenty of great children's museums in Georgia that offer opportunities for fun and education. One of our favorite is the Interactive Neighborhood for Kids, also known as INK. It's an interactive museum in Gainesville with lots of great exhibits. Two-hour time slots are reserved so that it's never too crowded, and you'll have the chance to play with your child in fun educational settings like a dentist's office, cafe, and even a real airplane.

The museum is geared towards kids ages 2-10. Children have to be accompanied by an adult while visiting, and adults are not allowed on their own.

The great thing about INK is what an excellent bonding experience it provides! There's nothing like learning through play with your little one.

INK features 20 permanent exhibits that can be explored in two-hour blocks.

You'll find all kinds of neat things here, including a fire truck and real police car.

The cafe offers a great opportunity for kids to learn about math as they add up the numbers on the receipts.

The airplane and construction equipment provide great opportunities for kids (and parents!) to engage in imaginative play.

There are also all kinds of stations, from dentist's office to hair salon to grocery store, so kids can act out all kinds of fun experiences.

When you were young, you probably played out fantasy scenarios in which everything around you was truly imaginary. This is such a cool chance for kids to get to interact with real-world objects while using their imagination.
