Enjoy A Farm-To-Glass Brewing Experience At This Unique Brewery In Georgia

Towerhouse Farm Brewery in Gay, Georgia, offers a unique farm-to-glass experience with locally sourced ingredients and various entertaining activities.

There are lots of farm-to-table restaurants in Georgia. The movement has been growing in popularity as of late, thanks to its environmental, health, and economic benefits. Farm-to-table meals are made of ingredients that are locally procured whenever possible. This cuts down on pollution from transportation, plus it results in fresher produce that retains more of its nutrients. Best of all, all the money spent at farm-to-table restaurants stays local since the producers are nearby. Another industry that's been gaining ground in the Peach State is the craft beer industry, so it may not come as a surprise that we've also been getting some farm-to-glass breweries in Georgia as of late. One of the best is Towerhouse Farm Brewery, tucked away in the little town of Gay. This hidden gem has been producing some of the best beer in Georgia since 2019.

Gay is a super-small town in Meriwether County with a population of around 100. It's about 45 minutes east of LaGrange, and it's a peaceful little town. You might be surprised to find a brewery here!

What makes Towerhouse Farm Brewery unique is that it's aiming to be truly farm-to-glass. The brewery hopes that within a few years, everything, from the spices to the corn to the yeast and malt will be grown on-site.

It's not quite at that level yet, but whatever ingredients can be obtained locally are. Beer is 95% water, and the water used to make Towerhouse beer is drawn from an aquifer right underneath the farm.

The taproom is quite cozy, and you'll also find an outdoor biergarten and a 21+ lounge above the taproom.

There is also disc golf, cornhole, pool, and other entertaining activities to enjoy while you sip a brew.

This is such an unexpectedly fun spot in small-town Georgia!
