I've already listed 8 great waterparks in Georgia, now its time for the amusement parks! If you're ready for some fun this summer, this list of amusement parks in Georgia will keep you and your kids on the move!

1) Six Flags Over Georgia - 275 Riverside Pkwy, Austell, GA 30168

This 290 acre theme park is a really popular park in Georgia. This family theme park features dozens of rides, live shows, and other activities!

2) Six Flags White Water - 250 Cobb Pkwy N #100, Marietta, GA 30062

White Water as its commonly known, is another popular water park a part of the Six Flags amusement park family. It was opened in 1984 as White Water Atlanta and became a part of Six Flags in 1999.

3) Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park - 1730 Lakeview Dr, Rossville, GA 30741

Also known as Lake Winnie, this is a fun southern amusement park in Rossville, GA. It's close to the Chattanooga, TN line. This park has been providing fun for the entire family since 1925 when it was opened by Carl and Minette Dixon.

4) Wild Adventures - 3766 Old Clyattville Rd, Valdosta, GA 31601

Another really popular theme park in Georgia, Wild Adventures is a popular destination for people from all over! This family park is located just 5 miles south of Valdosta, GA and it features water rides, thrill rides, animal exhibits, shows , and seasonal events!

Splash Island is a water park located inside of Wild Adventures. Some other favorite rides includes Cheetah, Swamp Thing, and Hakini Rapids.

5) Summer Waves - 210 S Riverview Dr, Jekyll Island, GA 31527

Summer Waves is a fun water amusement park that is home to a 40 foot twisting water slide! This park features 8 major rides/attractions. They include the Hurricane and the Tornado--which sends you downward for 330 feet-- a wave pool, a kiddie pool and Pirate's Passage--a five-story slide, which is the biggest in the park.

6) Splash in the Boro - 1388 GA-24, Statesboro, GA 30461

Visit Splash in the Boro for a full day of fun in the sun! This water amusement park is located within the Mill Creek Regional Park.

This park includes three waterslides, two body slides, one inner tube slide and an 800 foot lazy pool!

Okay--so some of these parks are waterparks. There's really only a few "real" amusement parks in Georgia, but with this summer being as hot as it is, it can't hurt to have some water works at any amusement park you go to!
