A Lighted Holiday Boat Parade Is Coming To Tampa, Florida This Winter

Are you ready for another fun-filled light show down Tampa’s famed Riverwalk? The Holiday Lighted Boat Parade is back for another year and this is not one to be missed. As Tampa’s largest lighted boat parade, you’ll have the chance to participate or get a front-row seat along the Hillsborough River in Downtown Tampa.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 6 p.m. for the best lighted boat parade in Tampa, Florida.

The parade starts at the southern tip of Davis Islands, traveling through the Convention Center basin and up to the Heights.

The boats will then turn around and head to Sparkman Wharf, where the official judging will begin!

First, second, and third-place winners will be announced in sailboat and motorboat competitions, and trophies will be distributed accordingly.

If you have a boat, register for a chance to win! You need to get into the holiday spirit and make sure your decorations sparkle.

But even if you want to sidle up on the sidelines and enjoy the views from the river’s edge, this lighted boat parade will not disappoint.

Public viewing locations include Armature Works, Channel Drive, Curtis Hixon, Davis Island, Harbour Island, Sparkman Wharf, and Water Works Park.

Make sure to be by your viewing area on December 17, 2022, at 6 p.m., with a rain date of Sunday, December 18, 2022.
