Only The Bravest Can Endure A Visit To The Devil’s School In Florida

The Devil’s School in Florida, also known as Annie Lytle Elementary School, is one of the most haunted places in the state with a terrifying history and eerie appearance.

Are you the type of person who loves a good scare? We’re not talking about watching a scary movie or swapping stories over a campfire. We mean a scare from visiting someplace that many have actually deemed haunted. If you’re up for the challenge, and you think you’re the bravest of brave, then we suggest visiting The Devil’s School in Florida, one of the most haunted places in the state.

Thanks to the renowned Florida photographer of Abandoned Florida, we have some of the best pictures around of this haunted attraction.

What has been dubbed one of the most famous haunted places in all of Florida, Annie Lytle Elementary School, also known as The Devil’s School, is as creepy as it gets.

Aesthetically, the boarded-up windows and the decrepit structures make it terrifying in itself, but once you learn the history behind this school, perhaps you’ll change your mind about visiting.

The original school was built in 1891, however, the school that is still standing to this day was built in 1917.

There have been plenty of urban legends to come from this school after it closed in the 1960s, from the crazy janitor who reportedly burned students alive in the boiler room to the cannibal principal.

Then there are the satanic rituals that reportedly took place inside or the principal who went on a murderous rampage against students.

Today, the abandoned school is riddled with graffiti, making it hauntingly beautiful inside.

But despite now having color splashed along every surface throughout, the history and haunt of this abandoned and decayed school is still enough for us to keep our distance.

While exploring inside The Devil’s School is off-limits, would you be brave enough to visit outside after nightfall?
