Floridians, there is good news headed your way—later this year a one-of-a-kind alpine snow tubing hill will open near Tampa and it will bring all your childhood dreams to life.
As the very first Florida snow park of it’s kind, Snowcat Ridge will feature a gargantuan snow tubing hill, actual snow play, an Alpine Village, and 10,000-square foot snow play dome.
The best about this all is that as expected, this will all be real snow…in Florida.
The snow tubing hill, which is likely the draw for most, will be 60-feet tall and 400-feet long, with a magic carpet lift that will take riders with their snow tubes all the way up the hill.
Then guests have the option of riding down the hill single, tandem, or in a 6-person family tube!
Snowcat Ridge will even feature a magical light show at night on the snow hill and inside the snow dome, so make sure you stay after the sun sets.
With a November 2020 opening date still planned, Snowcat Ridge in Florida will absolutely be one of the most unique winter-time features our great state has to offer.
