Delaware’s lush natural beauty lends itself well to fall activities. When the landscape is awash with multicolored leaves and the scent of apple cider and pumpkin pie fills the air, it brings a sense of comfort and community. Fall festivals are a great way for people to come together and celebrate the harvest of delicious crops and have some fun along the way. One of the best fall festivals in Delaware is Fall Fest at Fifer’s in Camden.
This wonderful fall festival in Delaware began on September 23 and will run until November 4.
The main attraction is the spacious corn maze which has a different theme every year. For 2023, the theme is Motor Maze featuring the characters of the animated movie Cars.
The U-Pick Pumpkin Patch is a delight for all ages. Your kids’ faces will light up when they get to pick their own pumpkin to be carved into a Jack-O-Lantern or turned into a scrumptious pie.
U-Pick apples are also available as well as delicious apple cider and cider donuts. The store has its own delectable apple butter made from apples from the orchard as well as a to-die-for apple pie. If you can’t pick apples, there are fresh ones on sale.
There is no shortage of activities including Super Straw Slides, Bee Line Swings, Jumping Pillows, Tire Tumblers, Pedal Tractors, Farmer Foosball, Rubber Duck Races, Farmer Volleyball, and tons more.
Saturdays are extra special as there is a Baby Animal Exhibit as well as Food Trucks, Face Painting, Live Music, and Apple Cannons!
You can’t leave the festivities without stopping in the farm store where you’ll find a wide selection of fresh produce, tasty homemade treats, delightful preserves, yummy baked goods, and so much more.
Bring the whole family for a full day of fall fun and create some memories that you won’t want to forget. You may as well make a whole weekend of it!
