Are you looking for a great way to kick off the Winter Holiday celebrations this week, after Thanksgiving? Head on over to one of these ice rinks in Delaware with your family or your partner to really get in the winter spirit! Because many of these rinks are also home to hockey teams with varying schedules, I recommend calling them first to double-check their open skate hours. Most of them offer lessons, too, as well as hockey, figure skating, performances, and more.
1. University of Delaware Ice Arenas, Newark
The UD Ice Arenas in Newark, Delaware offer open skating, lessons, hockey and more. Their open Skate hours vary based on tournaments and team practice, so your best bet is to call them at (302) 831-2868 before you plan a trip. 3. The Pond, Newark
The Pond in Newark hosts the coolest Ice Skating in Delaware - their friday night Cosmic Skate nights. If you want to feel like a teenager again, be sure to attend! Because they also host hockey teams, call ahead to ensure open skating session is still on for the day: (302) 266-0777

4. Riverfront Rink, Wilmington

6. WinterWonderFest, Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes
