Stroll Through A Field Of Sunflowers At This Summer Festival In Connecticut

We love the multitude of festivals that occur each summer in the Nutmeg State. We're a small state, but it's pretty incredible how many events and festivals in Connecticut there are in the warm months. Practically every weekend offers up something to celebrate and enjoy! One upcoming event that you won't want to miss is the Sunflower Fest CT at The Farm in Woodbury, CT. This colorful sunflower walk is open through much of August, and this year, the fields will open up Thursday, August 3. Check it out!:

If you've never heard of The Farm, it's one of our favorite things to do in Woodbury, CT. It's been open for more than 30 years and focuses on practicing responsible agriculture and producing quality foods.

The Farm's weekly farm stand is a great opportunity to eat healthier and support local business.

During the summertime, The Farm's Sunflower Field Walk is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the farm's most beautiful products.

The four acres of sunflowers here hold a huge variety of colors and sizes. Pollinators like bees and butterflies love stopping by the area, and you may even get a glimpse of some hummingbirds.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Each ticket includes one cut sunflower. If you'd like to bring more home, you can purchase additional cuttings or even a bouquet.

Want a more intimate experience? This year's Strings At Sunset benefit event is scheduled for August 11, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Limited tickets will be sold for this event. You'll get to enjoy the sounds of a string quartet as you stroll through the sunflower fields. Tickets to the Strings at Sunset event can be purchased from The Farm website.
