One of my favorite hobbies is browsing antique shops, flea markets, and thrift stores. Even if I'm not actively looking for something specific, it's fascinating to walk through and see all these bits of other people's lives. Sure, some of it is junk, but there's always an ever-present hope of finding a hidden treasure, and really, you never know what sort of gems you'll come across. One of the best antique malls in Connecticut is a perfect spot for hunting down hidden gems. Mongers Market is a sprawling group of sellers at an antique mall in Bridgeport, CT that carry everything from knick-knacks and collectibles to antique furniture and building materials. If you love browsing through antiques, this is the place for you!
Mongers Market is a sprawling 127,000 square-foot former factory that is only open on Sundays. There's a $3 admission fee to enter, but trust us: it's worth the few dollars!
You'll find just about everything under the sun here, and the indoor location makes it a great activity for a rainy day.
One of the best things about Mongers Market is the huge variety of price points.
Sure, you'll come across higher-end antique furniture that might have a heftier price tag...
...but there are also plenty of bargains to be found, too!
Vendors can sometimes vary each week, but in general, you can expect around 75 sellers here.
There's always something worth checking out. This is truly one of those places where you never know what you'll find!
