Lava Island Is A Tropical-Themed Indoor Playground In Colorado That’s Insanely Fun

Colorado is an outdoor playground, but sometimes the weather is just too hot or too cold, and the last thing you want to do is take the kids outside. The solution? Lava Island: an indoor, tropical-themed Colorado playground that will keep the kids entertained and burning off energy!

Located in Aurora, Lava Island is a giant, indoor playground complete with 15,000 square feet of trampolines, 23 climbing walls and obstacles, and a whopping 21,000 square feet of ladders, slides, and mazes.

Featuring colorful, island-inspired playsets, you will think you have escaped the hot or cold of Colorado for a sunny beach, thanks to the vibrantly painted walls, a life-size pirate ship, jungle-esque playscape, and much more.

Are you coming with littles in tow? There is a special infant and toddler-designated area just for them.

In addition to the playsets, Lava Island also houses an epic trampoline park complete with multiple trampolines, foam pits, and other fun surprises.

Lava Island is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
