This Colorado Gondola Ride Leads To The Most Stunning Fall Foliage You’ve Ever Seen

Hues of red, orange, gold, and yellow are beginning to engulf trees around the state, which means that fall is coming and that now is the perfect time to start planning any and all foliage peeping! While you can find beautiful foliage practically anywhere, we happen to think it is even more stunning from atop this Colorado gondola:

Welcome to the unforgettable Telluride and Mountain Village Gondola!

Built in 1996, anyone who has ever skied in Telluride or Mountain Village is most likely familiar with the scenic ride; however, it is during the vibrant fall months when the Gondola offers an even more beautiful trip, thanks to the birds-eye views of the tens of thousands of surrounding trees.

If you thought that fall in Colorado looked incredible before, wait until you see it from high above.

Featuring 13-minute rides, each trip on the Telluride Gondola offers 360-degree views of the jaw-dropping San Juan Mountains, making for a fall time excursion you will never forget.

Need another reason to visit, ride, and/or love these flying cars? Rides on the Gondola are FREE!

Please note: The Gondola briefly closes in late fall and spring for routine maintenance.

The Telluride and Mountain Village Gondola can be accessed via Station Telluride (Oak Street) and Station Mountain Village.
